Show Schedule

The dates set for the program are September 17-27, 2008

September 17- Arrival to U.S, dinner and private reception for participating artists
September 18- First day of Conecta 08, artists will meet in the gallery/studio
September 18-25- Artists work collaboratively on drawings in the gallery/studio
September 25- (5-7PM) Opening Reception and Artist Talk open to the public
September 27- Return to Mexico

- Artists collaborate and work in the gallery for the first week of the exhibition, open to the public. The artworks would “develop” while on display during that week. It will be mandatory that the artists commit a week of full-time participation—this part is seen as the residency portion of the project—seven days working in the gallery and the other three days are for the exhibition reception and travel time.
- After the first week, the artwork created during the residency would go on display along with the individual works made by each artist. The Union Gallery is a non-profit venue and therefore artworks on display are not for sale. The exhibition will be on display for four weeks after the completion of the program.
